PYONGYANG, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Thursday slammed the United States for escalating military threat, the Korean Central News Agency reported.
The U.S. and South Korean military officials "openly stated that it will concentrate its latest strategic assets on the vicinity of the Korean peninsula in an explicit manifestation of its intention to carry out an armed attack on the DPRK," a Foreign Ministry spokesman was quoted by the agency as saying.
