Kabul, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Up to 25 armed militants have been killed and 30 others injured during the clashes between security forces and Taliban militants along the Kabul-Kandahar highway in Wordak province east of Afghanistan, the government said Wednesday.
"A group of armed militants have attacked on Kabul-Kandahar highway in Wordak province on Tuesday, planed to block the road on traffic," the interior ministry said in a statement.
