NAHA, Japan (Kyodo) -- Tires being transported by a U.S. military helicopter accidentally dropped close to private land during a drill in Okinawa, the Defense Ministry said Thursday.
The helicopter was taking part in a drill Wednesday inside the U.S. Marine Corps' Camp Hansen and had tires suspended below, according to the ministry. No damage was reported.
