ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – A 12-year-old girl died while her mother was wounded when an improvised bomb exploded in a remote village in Lamitan City, Basilan yesterday afternoon.
Police identified the fatality as Saibi Haddalun while Neneng Haddalun was injured. The victims were harvesting root crops, reports said.
