Business analysts on Wednesday were asked to weigh in on the possible impact on the President Rodrigo Duterte’s leadership in Philippines oer Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential polls.
Analysts said Duterte can work well with Trump because he understands the Republican nominee’s outspoken nature.
Peter Wallace, founder of the Wallace Business Forum said “despite the differences between the two, I think Donald Trump will respect President Duterte, that they will actually get on quite well.”
“I think President Duterte will understand the kind of person Mr. Trump is and be able to work with him. I think it may be good,” he told reporters.
