Heavy clashes are underway between security forces and Taliban insurgents in Khanshin district of Helmand province, local officials said Tuesday.
The clash in the district started Monday night when dozens of Talib insurgents attacked parts of Khanshin district, officials added.
Local officials said the Taliban has suffered heavy casualties so far.
