During a state visit to China on Wednesday, President Rodrigo Duterte said it was “time to say goodbye” to the US as he reconfigure Philippine’s diplomatic ties.
In a four-day trip to China, Duterte said as if addressing the US, “your stay in my country was for your own benefit. So time to say goodbye, my friend.”
