News Story: Singapore arranges more patrol ships to fight terrorism

Singapore (VNA) – Singapore’s Police Coast Guard have been equipped with two new patrol boats that will aid the force’s fight against maritime crime and counter-terrorism capabilities.

According to the Singapore Police Force (SPF), the ships will support the police's overall security operations when major events are staged at the Marina Reservoir in the Marina Bay.

The Police Coast Guard will also use the ships to carry out security operations along the Singapore River, the Kallang Basin at the Marina Reservoir during Parliament sittings, said SPF.
