SINGAPORE, May 4 (Xinhua) -- Eight Bangladeshi nationals detained for terrorism-related activities is the first terror group of all foreigners busted in Singapore, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said on Wednesday.
The MHA said on Tuesday that the Bangladeshi nationals were detained as part of a secret group - the Islamic State in Bangladesh (ISB) - for planning attacks in their home country.
The eight men had each worked in Singapore for cumulative periods of between three and ten years, and they generally lived in different accommodation in the country.
