Aneka Bekal Sdn Bhd and Aerospace Long March International Trade Co Ltd signed a MoU concerning the possibility for the purchase of chinese-made LY-80 Medium-Range-Air-Defence Missile Weapon System bundled with transfer of technology.
According to reports, the agreement also covers the transfer of technologies to Malaysia to facilitate localised licenced production and maintenance should the LY-80 be selected to meet Malaysian Armed Forces requirements.
