WELLINGTON — An audit of New Zealand’s major acquisitions found program delays, software challenges and failures to meet contract obligations.
The Major Projects Report (MPR) by the office of Auditor-General Lyn Provost was published last November but only made public in late April.
The projects include both new helicopter types, the A109 and NH90; the upgrade projects to the C-130H and P-3 Orion fleets; as well as the Anzac frigate upgrades and continuing work on the Project Protector ships.
