BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday 1 Nov 2011 – RBLF today received a visit by the Commander of the Shenyang Military Region Command, Chinease People’s Liberation Army , His Excellency General Zhang Youxia, at Berakas Garrison.
Upon arrival at the RBLF HQ, His Excellency inspected a Guard of Honour mounted by personnel from the Second Battalion of Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF).
This was then followed by a courtesy call to the Commander of Royal Brunei Land Forces, Yang Mulia Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Yussof bin Haji Abdul Rahman. Later, His Excellency was bring by the Commander of RBLF to have a courtesy call to the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin.
The visit by His Excellency aims to strengthen the friendly relationship of both countries and to extend the importance of defence cooperation of respective armed forces.
His Excellency General Zhang Youxia with delegation arrived in Brunei Darussalam for three-day official visit.
