Korean Air Force held a joint seminar on chemical, biological and radiological for two days from June 9 and discussed ways to conduct joint CBR operations.
The two sides exchanged expert knowledge on CBR and talked about measures to reinforce Korea-U.S. joint CBR operations with operation process. Officers from U.S. Pacific Air Force Command and CBR officials from bases in Japan, Alaska and Guam took part in the seminar.
At the seminar, officials from Japan introduced information and their experience related to Fukushima nuclear plant accident in March this year.
In addition, CBR soldiers in Osan base in Gyeonggi demonstrated simulated military actions and measures in case of biological terror attempts.
