Local officials said Monday night police closed down a Madrassa in Ghor province after receiving information that attacks were being planned from inside the facility.
The Madrassa is located in the Saghar district.
Ghor police spokesman Mohammad Iqbal Nizami told TOLOnews that on the first day of Eid al-Adha, two Mullahs from the Madrassa planted a roadside mine that was hit by a police vehicle.
