BEIJING, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- China and Indonesia held the sixth meeting of vice-premier-level dialogue on Monday, vowing to improve the two countries' comprehensive strategic partnership.
Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi and visiting Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Wiranto co-chaired the meeting in Beijing.
Yang called on both sides to implement the consensus reached by their leaders.
China-Indonesia ties have seen rapid development and the two countries have maintained frequent high-level visits, while expanding cooperation in various fields, Yang said.
As major developing countries, both China and Indonesia shoulder the responsibility of safeguarding national security and boosting economic development, Yang said, noting that China is willing to work with Indonesia to integrate development strategies and enhance pragmatic cooperation.
