At least 26 soldiers were killed and 30 others were wounded after Taliban insurgents stormed an army base in southern Kandahar province on Tuesday night, sources confirmed to TOLOnews.
In addition, eight other soldiers are missing.
The attack took place in Khakriz district of the province late Tuesday after Taliban insurgents attacked the army base, according to sources.
