News Story: 1,100 peacekeepers participate in multinational exercise in Mongolia

ULAN BATOR, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Some 1,100 peacekeepers from 26 countries took part in the annual multinational peacekeeping exercise code-named "Khaan Quest-2017," which kicked off on Sunday at the training center of the Armed Forces of Mongolia in Tavan Tolgoi, 60 km from Ulan Bator.

Khaltmaa Battulga, president of Mongolia and commander-in-chief of the Mongolian Armed Forces, stressed that Mongolia will continue its contribution to strengthening security and peace in the world during the "Khaan Quest-2017" exercise from July 23 to Aug. 2.

This year's event is specific in field maneuvers at the level of military units and information processing training to repel cyberattacks.
