The U.N Secretary-General António Guterres who arrived in Kabul on Wednesday and appeared at a press conference later in the day, called on some countries to stop supporting terrorism.
He warned that the continuation of support for terrorism will damage those countries.
“My message to any country that supports terrorism anywhere in the world is that this is the wrong thing to do,” he said.
The UN chief said the only way to end the war in Afghanistan is through talks with anti-government armed groups.
