SRINAGAR, Indian-controlled Kashmir, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Two militants were killed in a gunfight with government troops in restive Indian-controlled Kashmir on Thursday, police said.
The gunfight broke out at Nathipora area of Sopore in Baramulla district, about 55 km northwest of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
"Two militants were killed in an early morning gunfight in Sopore," a senior police official posted in the town told Xinhua.
