SEOUL, June 14 (Yonhap) -- The defense ministers of South Korea and India on Wednesday agreed to deepen their partnership on regional security issues and expand defense industry cooperation, Seoul's ministry said.
Defense Minister Han Min-koo briefed his Indian counterpart Arun Jaitley on the security conditions involving North Korea in their talks here, according to Han's office.
It was the first meeting between the defense chiefs of the two countries in two years.
"He requested that India continuously participate in the international community's efforts for sanctions and pressure on North Korea," it said.
