ISLAMABAD, May 21 (Xinhua) -- At least six policemen were killed and one other was injured in two separate incidents of firing in Pakistan over the last 24 hours, police said Sunday.
Ghulam Murtaza Bhutto, Superintendent Police, said that three policemen were sitting in a parked police vehicle on Sunday when some unknown gunmen sprayed bullets on them in capital city Karachi of the country's south Sindh province, and fled the scene.
All three policemen were seriously wounded in the attack and shifted to a nearby hospital where two of them succumbed to injuries while the third is still in critical condition.
The policemen'autopsy report said that all three of them were shot in the head from a close distance.
