ISLAMABAD, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan on Tuesday summoned Iranian ambassador to convey concerns over remarks by Iran's army chief that Tehran would hit "terrorists" inside Pakistan if it can not secure its borders.
Major General Mohammad Baqeri on Monday issued the warning some two weeks after 10 Iranian border guards were killed in clashes near the Pakistan-Iran border.
The Sunni militant group Jaish ul-Adl (Army of Justice), which is fighting for independence in Iran's Sistan-Baluchestan province, had claimed responsibility for the attack.
