ISLAMABAD, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan on Thursday summoned a senior Indian diplomat and lodged protest over "unprovoked ceasefire violation" by the Indian forces that killed a civilian and injured two others, officials said.
The Foreign Ministry said Indian troops fired across the Line of Control (LoC) in the disputed Kashmir region in the night of May 10 and May 11.
Head of the South Asian Desk in the Foreign Ministry Mohammad Faisal summoned the Indian Deputy High Commissioner, J.P. Singh and condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violation, a Foreign Ministry's statement said.
