ISLAMABAD, May 3 (Xinhua) -- The Pakistani army said Wednesday that four terrorists were hanged for their involvement in terrorism.
An army statement said the convicts were involved in "committing heinous offenses relating to terrorism, including killing of innocent civilians, attacking Armed Forces of Pakistan and the law enforcement agencies."
They were the active members of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, who had confessed their crimes in the military courts, the statement from the army's media wing Inter-Services Public Relations said.
