TOKYO (Kyodo) -- The defense ministers of Japan and South Korea affirmed Monday that they will work closely with each other and with the United States following North Korea's latest ballistic missile launch the previous day, the Japanese Defense Ministry said.
Tomomi Inada and Han Min Koo confirmed cooperation in telephone talks on Monday morning after North Korea said it had successfully tested a new type of ground-to-ground medium- to long-range ballistic missile on Sunday.
