A blast at a market in a market in Parachinar, the capital city of Pakistan’s Kurram Agency, on Friday killed at least five people and wounded 40 others, Pakistani media reported.
Confirming the incident, a local political agent Ikramullah Khan, said the explosion took place this morning in the crowded Noor market, the Dawn reported.
According to the report, Pakistani security forces have cordoned off the area while emergency services have been dispatched to the site.
