SEOUL, March 3 (Xinhua) -- A nuclear-powered U.S. aircraft carrier is scheduled to enter South Korea's southern port city of Busan on March 15 for joint springtime war games, Yonhap news agency reported on Friday.
USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier will come into the Busan port to participate in the Foal Eagle field training exercises, the U.S.-South Korea combined forces command was quoted by Yonhap as saying.
The joint war games, which kicked off on March 1, are set to last by the end of next month, mobilizing multiple U.S. strategic assets including the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier and its attendant fleet.
