NEW DELHI, March 1 (Xinhua) -- India on Wednesday successfully testfired a home-made supersonic interceptor missile from a military base off the coast of the eastern state of Odisha, sources said.
The Advanced Air Defense (AAD) missile, which can destroy incoming enemy ballistic missiles at low altitudes, successfully intercepted a Prithvi missile within minutes, the sources said.
