News Story: ‘War’ to ignite once US begins blocking Beijing’s access in South China Sea

Li Mingjiang, associate professor at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies in Singapore, said on Thursday the blocking of China’s access to its fake islands in South China Sea, “could lead to a war” with the United States.

“Stopping China’s access to the South China Sea could lead to a war between the two nations. I don’t think the tension is up to that point now,” Li said.

According to Li, “China will also take action against the US if Washington penalises Chinese companies over North Korea.”
