KABUL, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Two explosions ripped near a government office along a busy road in the western part of the Afghan capital Kabul on Tuesday, leaving casualties, witnesses and sources said.
"The first blast came after a suicide bomber detonated his explosive jacket near a government employees' bus at around 3:45 p.m. (local time). The second blast came 10 minutes later," witness Mohammad Safa said.
The attacks resulted in unknown casualties. The nature of the second blast was like a car bombing, he said.
