Pakistan's army media said Sunday the Afghan National Unity Government (NUG) has invited General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Pakistan's new Army Chief of Staff, to visit Kabul.
According to reports, the invitation was issued when Bajwa called to wish President Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah a happy new year.
Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff emphasized that both countries were working for peace in the region.
