News Story: Russia invents camouflage paste that cheats infrared devices

MOSCOW, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Russian special forces got the first sets of camouflage paste, which makes people almost invisible to thermal imaging devices, Russian newspaper Izvestia reported Monday.

The paste "Tuman-R," when applied to the skin, absorbs up to 95 percent of infrared radiation produced by the human body and can maintain its effects up to two weeks, the report said.
