Two vessels of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Navy began a visit to Vietnam on December 7 after arriving at Cam Ranh International Port, the south central coastal province of Khanh Hoa, the same day.
The ships, ROKS Cheon Ji and ROKS Chungmugong Yi Sunshi, carry 39 officers and 485 crewmembers led by Rear Admiral Lee Sang Hoon.
This is the second time RoK military and mission vessels have visited Vietnam in 2016. Last May, ship BARADO of the country’s coast guard force visited central Da Nang city.
