KUNDUZ, Afghanistan, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- Police in Afghanistan's Kunduz province have launched search operations to locate and ensure the safe release of the abducted employee of the International Committee of the Read Cross (ICRC), local police said Wednesday.
Unknown armed men on Monday intercepted four employees of ICRC when they were traveling in vehicles to Kunduz city, and later released local ICRC employees but kept the foreigner in their custody.
