Jakarta (VNA) - The Danish government is exploring cooperation with the provincial government of Indonesia’s South Sulawesi in the maritime and energy sector.
"We met with Deputy Governor of South Sulawesi, Agus Arifin Numang, to jointly promote cooperation in maritime affairs and renewable energy," said Danish Ambassador to Indonesia Casper Klynge.
Denmark is one of the world’s leading countries in the development of renewable energy.
South Sulawesi can be a pioneer in the development of this energy because the region has the potential to develop wind energy, according to the ambassador.
