BEIJING, Dec. 9 (Xinhua)-- China on Friday reaffirmed its firm opposition to official and military relations between the United States and Taiwan in any form, as well U.S. arms sales to Taiwan.
"China's stance is consistent and clear, and well known to the international community," said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang at a daily press briefing.
Lu made the remarks while commenting on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) passed by the U.S. senate and the House of Representatives.
According to reports, the NDAA includes content promoting exchanges between military officers of the United States and Taiwan.
