News Story: Thailand investigates IS-linked citizens

Bangkok (VNA) – Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayut Chan Ocha on November 22 directed security agencies to investigate a report of the Australian Federation Police informing some Thais were linked to the Islamic State (IS) group.

The Australian police found the information on social networks and websites of the terror group.

Investigation must be meticulous as a preventive solution, particularly when IS-operated attacks have taken place in many countries, threatening thousands of people’s lives, according to the PM’s order.
