Hanoi (VNA) – Myanmar State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi has urged non-signatory armed groups to join the government peace process by signing the nationwide ceasefire agreement (NCA).
As leader of the National Reconciliation and Peace Centre, Aung San Suu Kyi called on the groups to work with the civil society to find ways to strengthen the monitoring mechanism, thus ensuring non-violation of the ceasefire agreement and equal participation in the 21st Century Panglong Conference in February 2017.
