Hanoi (VNA) – Germany supports Vietnam’s stance of settling the East Sea dispute by peaceful means on the basis of international law, said visiting Chief of Staff of the German Army General Rainer Schuwirth.
The German official made the statement while meeting with Senior Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, in Hanoi on October 31, according to Quan doi Nhan dan (People’s Army) newspaper.
