At least five Daesh insurgents were killed and four others wounded during an Afghan security forces clearance operation in Nangarhar province, Ministry of Interior said Saturday in a statement.
According to the MoI statement the operation was conducted in Pachir Aw Agam district.
During the operation the security forces seized a substantial amount of ammunition.
The operation is ongoing in the district, the statement added.
