SINGAPORE, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte called on Singapore's President Tony Tan Keng Yam and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Thursday during his visit to the city state, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
MFA said Tan and Rutte reaffirmed the excellent ties between Singapore and the Netherlands. They noted the long-standing and historical cooperation between the two countries.
Lee and Rutte welcomed the strong bilateral partnership, including in emerging areas of cooperation such as cyber-security, and discussed international developments. Lee also thanked the Netherlands for its continued support for the EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement.
