Newly appointed Ambassador to the United Nations Teodoro “Teddyboy” Locsin Jr. has sparked world war online after his series of tweet provoked netizens and numerous human rights group seeking for legal actions to ban him “from any government appointments henceforth.”
In Defense of Human Rights and Dignity (iDEFEND) said in its statement: “Mr. Locsin’s actions are contemptuous to the Filipino people and its solidarity with the Jewish people against tyranny and any form of targeted extermination. As sovereignty resides in the people we are therefore firing you Mr. Locsin. iDEFEND calls for legal actions to ban you from any government appointments henceforth.”
On August 21, Locsin tweeted, “The drug menace is so big it needs a Final Solution like the Nazis adopted. That I believe. No rehab.”
While, on Aug. 24, “You may find this hard to believe but the Nazis were not all wrong, give or take killing millions of the wrong people. Keep an open mind.”
