President Ashraf Ghani and CEO Abdullah Abdullah have condemned the "terrorist" attack on Pakistan's police academy and said that terrorists are a threat to the region and the world.

The president's office said in a statement that "President Ashraf Ghani has strongly condemned the attack on Pakistan's police academy", adding that "terrorism is a common threat for the stability of the region and world."

"Today, once again, a number of families are effected by a terrible terrorist attack and are in mourning," Ghani said in the statement.

Ghani called for the need for common combat at a national and regional level to prevent terrorist activities.

"Terrorism doesn't' know any religion, law, race and ethnicity and not respect. So from this point, and in a basic vision and strategy, all without separation over good and bad terrorism, we should combat against them and use force," he said.
