YANGON, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Local authorities in Myanmar's westernmost region on Sunday imposed curfew after three border posts were separately attacked, official media reported Monday.
Dozens of armed men attacked three border posts with Bangladesh in Rakhine state Saturday midnight, killing nine policemen and injuring five, with one still missing, the reports said.
Local General Administration Department ordered the curfew on the whole region after the attack at the Kyikanpyi Border Post Headquarters in Maungtaw township, Kotankauk Outpost in Rathedaung township and Ngakhuya Office.
