A number of critics on Sunday slammed the Ministry of Defense (MoD) for what they called poor war management, arguing that because of this parts of the country are collapsing to insurgents.
They said they believe that the situation will worsen if government does not take the issue seriously.
"The lack of a war management strategy in Kunduz, corruption in public offices and among the security agencies' leadership have created these problems," said Mirdad Nijrabi, head of internal security commission of the Wolesi Jirga (Lower House of Parliament).
"This problem is mostly the outcome of government's policies and management and the other issue is the interference of foreigners," said military commentator Jawed Kohistani.
