ISLAMABAD, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- At least eight people were killed and 19 others injured when two bombs hit a passenger train in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province on Friday, local media and offcials said.
The Federal Minister for Railways Khwaja Saad Rafique said the passenger train Jafar Express was targeted by a remote-controlled device in Mach area of Balochistan, some 50 km northeast of the provincial capital of Quetta.
Railway authorities said the train was on its way to the northern Rawalpindi city from Quetta when it came under attack.
