MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Moscow is ready to deliver attack helicopters and other weaponry to Kabul if the United States or the European Union provide arms contract financing, a senior Russian diplomat said Friday.
"We are ready to sell such expensive items as attack helicopters and other weapons systems to Kabul paid for with American or EU money," Russian presidential envoy to Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov said.
The Russian diplomat stressed that Washington or Brussels could use the funds collected at a recent donor conference on Afghanistan.
