VLADIVOSTOK, Russia, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- Russian and Indian motorized units have used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during joint military drills in Russia's Far Eastern Primorsky Territory, a Russian Eastern Military District (EMD) spokesman has said.
During the drills, EMD units and Indian Armed Forces used Russian UAVs "Orlan-10" to locate illegal armed groups, said the district's spokesman Vladimir Matveyev.
Using UAVs, the two countries' forces also practiced transporting tactical groups, he said.
