South Korea plans to deploy dozens of Taurus missiles on its F-15K fighters this year, the Yonhap news agency reported Tuesday.
The jamming-proof, air-to-ground guided missiles are meant to bolster the country's strike capabilities in the face of mounting North Korean military threats, Yonhap reported.
Military officials were quoted by Yonhap as saying the missiles will be brought from Germany by the year's end.
