News Story: Myanmar to enhance security for State Counselor after reported ISIS threat

YANGON, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar will enhance security for State Counselor and Union Minister for President's Office and Foreign Affairs Aung San Suu Kyi who was reportedly being named as a target of the Islamic State (IS), U Zaw Htay, speaker of President's Office said on Thursday.

Actions for closing-guarding, inner, outer, and route security will be provided tightly to State Counselor after the reported ISIS threat, said U Zaw Htay.
